Why High Adventure?

High Adventure builds confidence, connections, and competence through challenging outdoor activities.  These experiences push young people beyond their comfort zones, fostering personal growth, resilience, teamwork, and leadership skills in a practical, real-world setting.  Adventure Troop 202 plans to conduct a High Adventure Expedition every other year, giving each member a chance to experience several during their time in the troop.

Coming in the Summer of 2027, Adventurers will have the opportunity to step away from screens, routines, and everyday noise to experience something unforgettable - hiking in the Bridger-Teton National Forest in southwestern Wyoming.

More than just an outdoor trip, this adventure is about growth.  Adventurers will work together as a team, practice leadership, and discover they are capable of far more than they realize.  With every mile hiked, every meal cooked together, and every night under the stars, they will strengthen friendships, deepen testimonies, and come home with a sense of accomplishment that cannot be taught in a classroom.
